Why are wedding decorations so expensive? And are six-figure wedding setups really worth it?
Honestly, there’s never a single right answer. Because everyone defines a wedding differently.
Some couples dream of something simple and intimate, while others hope to create a day that truly feels unforgettable.
Once a wedding begins to have a theme, a story, and a style that is uniquely yours, it becomes much more than simply “flowers and a backdrop.”

What we do is transform an ordinary venue into a space that feels completely personal to you. From colours, structures, lighting, and flow, to every layer of texture and detail, everything has to be thoughtfully designed, customised, and executed.
And what makes wedding decor expensive is rarely just the flowers or props themselves. More often, it is the countless hours spent on design development, testing ideas, on-site execution, team coordination, and the level of craftsmanship and detail required to bring everything to life.

As both wedding planners and decorators, we truly believe that the wedding setup is one of the very first impressions guests experience when they walk into the celebration. But that does not mean “the more expensive, the more beautiful.”
What a larger budget really offers is the freedom to explore more creative possibilities and achieve a greater level of detail and experience. What we have always believed in is not extravagance for the sake of it, but creating the best possible quality, atmosphere, and experience within the couple’s comfort and vision.
Because to us, a wedding is never just a one-day event. It is a memory that stays with people for a very long time.

Wedding day: the real test
On the wedding day, everything comes together at once.
Loading, setting up, adjusting, solving problems on the spot.
There is no time to hesitate.

We confirm every detail, we adapt when things change, we make decisions within minutes.
Three minutes to solve a problem: 'OK, fixed. Next.'

Because everything is moving, and we move with it.
XO23’s “Number One Woman.”
She looks like she does everything, and she really does.
She is a wedding planner, the on-the-day coordinator, and also the leader of our decoration team.

On some days,
she can be in the office all day in front of her laptop and calculator,
quietly looking at the numbers and saying, “this month is another five-figure spend.”
On other days,
you’ll find her alone in the studio,
slowly tidying up and arranging flowers in her own world.
Some days,
she’s deep in fabric work, trying to figure out how a certain colour or texture should be achieved,
and the next day, her hands are stained from dye, something we all notice and quietly feel for her.

And then there are days when you simply can’t find her anywhere.
She’s at the hardware store, then the plant nursery, then the carpentry factory, checking on pieces.
And on wedding days, she’s everywhere.
At loading, she’s there.
At setup, she’s there.
During the wedding, she’s there.
During teardown, she’s still there.
It feels like she’s everywhere at once.
But over time, you realise, it’s not that she’s everywhere.
It’s that she always chooses to be exactly where she’s needed.
Because to her, a wedding is never just one person’s work, it’s every single detail, every role, every moment, being done properly, with care.
Our designer
And in this team,
there is also someone who always turns wild, imaginative ideas into reality, step by step.

From a design sketch to a fully built space, from a simple spark of inspiration to a wedding that is truly seen, felt, and remembered.
What looks effortless and beautiful on the surface, is actually the result of countless rounds of reworking, restarting, adjusting, and holding on.
One flower position, one fabric drop, one lighting angle, she will adjust them many times, just to get that “just right” feeling.
She doesn’t design to “finish a job”. She designs until it feels right.

Sometimes only a few centimeters make a difference, and she will still go back and adjust it again.
What you see in the end is not just a design, It is something carefully refined, over and over again.
Our founder
She always sees weddings from a bigger perspective.
Before we even think about details, she already sees the full picture of how the wedding will feel on the actual day.

Then she works backwards, breaking everything down step by step: who does what, when it should happen, how everything connects.
She doesn’t just look at parts. She looks at the entire system.
And more importantly, she believes it can be done.
That one simple sentence: “We can make it happen.”
And it’s the reason many weddings become reality.
